Ill be going to Germany this summer in the lude and have always been tempted to stop off at the ring.

has anyone been before?

it will be a bit out of the way and im a bit concerned about a few thing. Mainly destroying my ride home.

will a half descent lude survive the ring?

Just take it easy, treat it like a fast sunday drive rather than a track day and keep an eye in your mirrors at all times. You'll be fine

what he said ^^^^^^

It really shouldn't be treated as a balls out track day there is a reason they call it the green hell and it also has buses coaches taxis motorbikes and probably bleeding skateboards  all trying to hit the same apex

im not sure if this is true or not, if someone wouldn't mind correcting me :)

ive heard that if you crash at the ring you need to pay for all damages, I.e barriers and such?

i just want to see the track really so will be taking it fairly easy.

Thanks for the link @Donald. very helpful and scary at the same time :) At 31 euro per meter for armco repairs, ill be staying well away from them :)

I went last year during the European Prelude Meet. I didn't go flat out around the track and VTEC through every gear, like what @4thgenphil said, treat it like a fast Sunday drive rather than a driving the car like you just stole it.

Probably one of the best days of my life.

If it's still the same but a few years ago a crash cost me €410 for the barrier only 1 meters worth!! Then €230 to be towed off the track.... Never ever ever go out in the wet!!

dont go out once the sun's off the track, it gets slippy.
