Is it just me who thinks he's a drokking knob that really gets on my tits?
Leaving aside his attitude to what's acceptable in playing the game these days (accepting of 'professional fouls' etc which are just drokking bum droppings cheating, regardless of who does them) his constant ability to split infinitives, tenses and first/third person perspective back and forth every 2 words in a sentence just make the rhubarb absolutely intolerable.
Asshole...
"it wasn't malicious" every time - SO drokking WHAT?! IT'S STILL A drokking FOUL! I don't want to see these overpaid primadonna's behave like that! FFS... (etc.)
(press mute and relax

He's certainly not the best pundit, but after listening to Adrian I'm going to put you off football Chiles it's nice to listen to Townshend rattle on!

It's funny you know, I really liked Adrian Chiles on Working Lunch, he was great at that. I don't like him doing football though, which is actually his passion!
While we're on the subject... Lee Dixon is absolutely wasted on ITV - brilliant pundit, gets no time to say anything since he switched to itv
And am I the only one who seems to have a problem taking Roy Keane seriously, sat there as a pundit? I don't know what it is, maybe it's his complete and utter lack of any personality or emotion when he speaks in front of the camera, but... I dunno, I just can't take him seriously!

first world cup without Motty!
And last world cup with Hansen!

I had about 20 Andy Townsends in my 1995 Merlin premier league sticker album.

I don't dislike Roy Keane, but don't particularly rate him. He speaks sense but they often seem to struggle to get him to give an opinion. I agree about Lee Dixon. He is very good.

Roy Keane is great at pointing out things in hindsight doesn't give many opinions upfront as he doesn't want to shown as wrong

All I care about is seeing Chile and Ghana play. They were very entertaining in the last tournament. Just a shame the groups they're in means it's quite unlikely they'll make it out of the group stage.
The ONLY football I watch is the World Cup because I enjoy seeing the other countries caught up in the hype. I love seeing countries normally at the back of people's minds playing sport at an international level.
As unpatriotic or whatever it may seem, couldn't give a toss how far we get
