wheel swap

ive been offered a wheel swap
currently mine are the honda civic ek9 type r wheels but are 16s
the wheels i have been offered are rota slipstreams in the same size
this guy wants money his way i was just wondering what people thought about price difference? just so i dont get ripped off

You are only gonna get ripped off if you accept a deal you don't like
In the end it is up to you how much you are gonna pay. If his wheels are "better", why swap with you??
If you value his wheels more than yours, then just pay what ya think is fair!

he wanted to put the standard wheels back on his ek9 but mine are the tegiwa reps anyway in a 16
he thought they were worth the retail price lol so i turned him down
although does anyone know anywhere i can get them refurbed cheap?

If he thinks they're worth retail why wouldn't you just go and buy retail
How much do these reps weigh? IIRC the OEM EK9 wheels are quite heavy.

15" OEM 7.2kg
16" reps 7.8kg

correction he wanted 500 for 4 when i can buy brand new online for 450
