I'm looking to get some "sticky stuff remover" to remove the adhesive gum/glue from the edge of my doors since I've removed the door edge strips, and something like this would do I think, but I fancy getting it sooner than that delivery guarantees, so does anyone know of any common outlet stores that would sell such a thing?

Also, if anyone knows of any such stuff that's safe to use on the dash I'd be interested to hear about that as well

... And no, I didn't turd on my dash!

Glad you didn't poo on your dash. Try going to any paint place and grab a 5l tin of Panel Wipe. Will remove the stickyness and has a million other uses too. I usually get the Tetrosyl stuff.

Most of these are likely to leave a white staining on the dash, other than WD40. So for the dash i'd probably try the WD40 and work it in with something like a tooth brush and then wash down with fairy liquid to get rid of the grease.

For the body work, apply T&G remover, work in with a microfibre cloth and don't forget to wash down the area and slap on some wax when you have finished, as the T&G remover will remove any paint protection.

Why not soak a cotton bud in WD-40 and give those ears a good old clean?!
