Yeah dogs... They're great at getting injured or sick on a Sunday, Holiday or around midnight :roll:

few months back I was driving around town in the middle of the night with my extremely worried mom and a very sick jack russel terrier on the passenger seat. Hairy b*stard survived and is a happy old dog now :) , good luck with your trouble makers! ;)

Why is b*stard filtered? seems mild enough to me, but then again I"m a rude Dutch guy NVM :roll:

I do wonder why bas tard is filtered. It is not a taboo word nowadays and never held the same panache as the 4letters.

prat is fine and prat was as bad as c unt in its day. strange.

Glad the pooch is on the mend :D

Decided I can't ask to borrow Phil's trailer again (he will lend it to me, I just can't ask for a while :oops: ). Looked into hiring one, quite a few around but none on my doorstep so by the time I've hired including jungle juice driving over to collect/drop off, I'm about £150 down per weekend. Decided if I was spending money I don't have (credit card :facepalm: ) a better deal was to buy one and re-sell.

Friday night ebay session secured one - only problem was the one I bought (bargain!) was in Brum and I don't have the Disco yet. Went to hire a Navara I've used before but that didn't go according to plan... It was out that morning so couldn't collect till half 1. When I got there, the brake lights had stopped working :x I spent 2 hours with them trying to fix it but no joy, so he let me take the only other thing they had with a tow bar... :hurr: Late afternoon set off to Brum, got back at half midnight and dropped it off at the barn this morning;

Cost me £85 in Diesel but... the bloke didn't charge me anything for the truck hire because I'd spent that time trying to fix their vehicle :hail: 8-) (That sort of service, plus their prices is why I've been using them for 10 years whenever I need a van ;) )

This is what I bought.

14' x 6' bed, new tyres all round, bearings just greased, new wheel arch covers, decent weight and strength, nice and low etc. Well pleased :D Should do the job nicely for moving the rest of the CXs and I should be able to sell it on for a profit.

Space saving temporary storage method :D

Wurly, you continue to meet life on your own terms, and I salute you for it.

Excellent! :D (If a bit roundabout) :lol:

Glad the dog is on the mend. Sounds painful! Has he got a bad leg too?
Fortunately it's extremely rare that I need vet trips with my scaly pets (though just as well as not many vets claim to have any knowledge of reptiles), and the only furry animals i have are in the freezer. :lol:

Looks a nice trailer. Much more convenient for you than having to borrow one whilst moving your collection to the new shed. Worth it if you get most of your money back afterwards. If you can make a profit it's a bonus! 8-)

Thanks. Yeah, I've just decided it's time to start making some time and doing things that I've been wanting to do for years.
