When refitting the covers, I found cable ties are a much easier option than reusing the old hog clips. :idea:

Thrust bearing appears to have shat itself :roll:
Still, could be worse, readily available off t'interweb and ordered in a few minutes, at £27 delivered sometime next week.

Also the rear of the Safari has evidently decided to continue its return to nature (this was on the ground under the back bumper :facepalm: )

Today I mainly cleaned up the garage to find all my camping gear ready for trip to Le Mans next week. Found some lude parts I no longer need which are now up for sale in the for sale section (shameless plug ;) )

Also got a couple of little jobs done on the car in prep for the trip.
