Thanks guys!
yeah the shed isn't completely clear if it will stay or the owner takes it with him.
Ill prob. take it down anyway (old and plastic) since there is an other wooden shed hidden behind the tree on the left

This evening (if it's not pi$$ing down with rain) I will be installing this:

Complete with K&N filter
Muchas gracias to @newkid and @preludemanh22
..from what I can gather that fat black box in the middle is the only real difference, has nobody thought of copying it and selling it as a retro fit to improve standard intakes?

No worries man, also its totally different not just the middle box, look how it connects to the main airbox. Its more a rectangular oval.bb1boy wrote:This evening (if it's not pi$$ing down with rain) I will be installing this:

The real question is, are you going to flock it?

Yes, in this instance;bb1boy wrote:Ah yes, I see.. do you think that oval connection makes much difference over a round one?
A) 'cause it's larger, therefore allows more air to flow
B) it's probably a more efficient shape too (in this particular installation) once you've modelled air flows through the panel filter, allowing better laminar flow...

Not a 'look what I did today', but sat at my desk after a manic morning just taking a moment to 'look forward to the weekend' and...
I think this weekend I'll go over to the 'old' barn to poke about on the 3 CX's I need to move next (see what state they're in
) and then to the new barn, to wash and run up the 3g.
The 3g stuff isn't for any reason really, other than because I'm sad, it feels like a bit of a treat to think of going and playing with it
Might also start taking bits off the white BB4 ready to be swapped onto Lisa's...
