Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

There are a few but mostly talking about converting the airmix blower to LHD. Do you have the heater matrix box, JDM heater / air con loom and the dash loom (to the temp sensors)? If so then its a lot of work, but fairly straightforward.
I'll be happy to try and answer any questions if you get stuck.

My Lude is an LHD one so I have to make a custom bracket for the heater box. No be deal I imagine but, the wiring is scaring me.

I think the best way is to get the EDM wiring diagramm + JDM one and see how to deal with it ?

I was a little nervous when I saw that there were differences between the dash looms, and even posted on here asking if anyone had done this conversion before.
As it turned out it wasn't too bad. Was only a matter of stripping the temp sensors (complete with connecting plug) from the JDM one and splicing it into my existing loom. Only 3 wires to cut and join and another 4 to tape into the loom.
Feel free to drop me a PM if you want to ask any questions when you get started.

I went to Arlington Speedway today to watch the banger racing. As it's a bank holiday they had a special event day, and today it was van bangers

Apologies for the jobby photos but I was more interested in watching it first hand if I'm honest

There were 3 rounds of full contact racing, in which a few drivers took it seriously and the rest just crashed into each other, made a blockage and then tried to take out anyone who was still racing  Then after 3 rounds of serious abuse, they had a demolition derby to finish the vehicles off :D I genuinely can not believe the amount of abuse these comercial vehicles could take. A fair few ended up as bare chassis and were still going, eventually the winner was a coach that just beligerantly refused to die even though it had lost tyres, it's body, it was shooting smoke and fluids out the engine bay, all the wheels were pointing in different directions, the chasis was bent..... I could go on

Also on today was the 1300cc stock cars - to my surprise largely made up of Hondas, as I was expecting mainly euro stuff (there were a few Corsas and a couple of Fords). There were several EG and EK Civics plus a Del Sol. I think a Toyota Starlet won the first round, then the Hondas dominated the other rounds 8-) I didn't get any pictures of the stock cars though as they were way to fast too photo

I also got a memento from the day - I got hit in the thigh by a coach screw that was thrown out of a crash by the armco :?

At any rate it was an awesome day out :)

Can be fun to watch, but I can't because you know that out there in amongst several genuinely dead cars having a last hurrah, there are several peoples pride and joy that have been stolen to order, specifically to be smashed up :guns:

I got busy with the sandpaper, fibre glass, filler, paint etc

...and I fixed these!!

Someone had previously tried to steal them and fractured them both. I wasn't sure if they were going to be fixable, turns out I should have had more faith!

Same goes for my Hiro spats, thought it was terminal from the badger attack, but with some perseverance I managed to fix it pretty damn well. There is some overspray in this pic, but that has now gone thanks to Meguiars M105 ultra-cut compound.

I literally couldn't be more pleased with myself :)

...I'll update my build thread when I get these items stuck back on the 'Lude!
