

I've been offered a complete Legacy wagon GT (EJ20 twin turbo) for 350 as well... Suspected main bearing failure though. Still a temptation at that price though...

I'm contemplating whether I can use the Forester bottom end with the twin turbo heads, loom and ECU. The forester engine runs OBD2 and I think the mk2 Legacy GT is OBD1, I think my mk1 Legacy is also OBD1. I'm reckoning that swapping the loom and management from the borked GT wagon would be less of a headache than swapping the forester bits in. Plus I need a gearbox, prop shaft and rear diff anyway so it would be ideal having the Legacy GT as a donor. I'm totally talking myself into this
