I experienced uncontrolled boost in the truck as the tube from the turbo to the boost controller split open so the wastegate was basically disabled.
We got to 20psi and I backed off thanks to the gauge and the check engine light
had to drive 40 miles to get home so gentle cruising was the order of the day. Fiddly but sorted.

Just wanted to say this forum is the best one. 
All the other forums that I use are all slowly dying away as Facebook group pages are taking over.. Most of the activity is now on FB and hardly anyone goes on actual forum. You can post about asking for help or selling something and no one will even view that stuff. But on FB everyone is active and always there. Well this forum is the best, so much activity and everyone is always on here to help..
