Hi all out there in ashtray land, here's a few more i was lucky enough to come across last week. I think you guys might like some of these.
Nice B&H (JPS-a-like), local ceramic. Great condition.

This is a belter. Goodyear 'Wranger' radial. Proper branding on the tyre. It was bloody filthy but you can see how it turned out.

This is stunning. Genuine Noritake Bone China. Probably used in an actual Noritake retailer. Mint.

Bloody ginormous ashbucket. Local ceramic, bit of cracking on the glaze but rather nice.

Plastic Tuborg. Huge thing. Mint.

Crystal King Size. Local brand of fags no longer made. plastic.

This is great. Very heavy glass. Ace condition.

I'm dead chuffed to finally get a Gold leaf as they're pretty rare. Local ceramic. Very good condition.

Another from Borneo Motors obviously promoting Toyota. Local ceramic, mint.

This is exactly the same shape as the Toyota one. I just like the branding.Great condition.

I haven't seen a Peter Stuyvesant one like this so I snapped it up.

I didn't know they were linked to American football.

As above, front. Borderline mint. Ceramic, no maker's mark.

This helmet thing seemed quite a craze for a while, as I've seen quite a few. This is mint.

Very nice local ceramic. Here's side one. Pity the health nazis have made them erase that strapline.

This is ace. Wade UK. Mint.

Mint French ceramic. Tres rustique.

That's a fair point @mercutio, and you're spot on. While we do have a ciggy ban in public places, it's often flouted with little or no comeback. Singapore's a different kettle of fish however, but of course, Changi airport duty-free is overflowing with fags at amazing prices. Even the canny Singaporeans can see there's money to be made out of us idiot smokers. Just as long as you don't take them into their fair city-state, of course.

In the Philipines, it was difficult to know which was more likely to kill you - the general smog from the static car park (otherwise know as every single road on the island) or the passive smoke from every single filipino having about 10 fags on the go at once, which was generally brought on by the massive in your face glamour style cigarette advertising by western companies, of the type that was banned here even decades before sports sponsorhsip was banned (let alone the mandatory pack health warnings, public space ban and plain packaging etc).

Morning all, just thought I'd share a couple of little things I bought last week. I'm sure, like me, you will be astonished at what they could get away with on the branding front, for ciggies back then. I'm really chuffed I managed to nab these for such a great price.
This Craven A ashtray is mint. Not a scratch.

Here's the money shot. Amazing, isn't it?

The real McCoy with Carreras branding on the base.

And this was thrown into the deal. I think I'll frame it, and display it as something of historical note.

Asbestos! I cleaned it up but don't you love that groovy patina?

I still can't work out its age but the five digit phone numbers mean early 60's

Red Hackle. Sounds like a bad cough. No longer in business.

Just liked the shape and the name. Mint condition.

This is the first of this push type I've seen and bought. Great condition. Works a treat.

It cleaned up well as it was bloody filthy.

And here's my brother's Christmas present. Again, it was filthy but the Cuthbert diligence worked its magic.
