Not had much from the NHS  Even the brace I purchased myself.

Though I've been seeing a private physio, and may just pay for an op via Bupa or someting if it's going to take that long.

Private ACL reconstruction is somewhere in the region of £5k IIRC, no idea what you would pay if you have insurance or something or if the MCL adds anything in the way of cost.

As far as I'm aware you have the right to receive treatment within a maximum of 18 weeks so if they drokk you about you can put pressure on them and they may end up outsourcing it to BUPA, providing that it is in your best interests medically to have the op sooner rather than later.

I'd be really getting onto them about it considering you have two fairly serious injuries. Last thing you want is the P/LCL going, bone damage of your tibia slipping under your femur. :puke:

Today I did a few jobs on the boat.

Then blew my exhaust on the M27, 40 minutes from home.
I nursed it back, parked it and went indoors without a backward glance.
It's very loud and very rough and will have to wait for another day.

If it was on the boat I may know what caused it!

Yes, boat exhausts don't usually work well on the M27.

So on Saturday a few friends and I were invited to race in a 10 hour simulator endurance race for charity held at The Race Centre in Southampton.

We raced in Formula BMW single seaters around Donnington national circuit.

Was good fun but unfortunately out of the ten teams that were meant to turn up only 4 actually showed up.

Thought I'd share this because we are interested in organizing another one but filling all ten pods so to make a proper day of it. If anyone is interested in doing this please feel free to get in touch.

Last night I finished the preparations for my plasterer to begin rendering/plastering the majority of the ground floor of my house. He made a start this morning :D

Here are the before pictures from this morning...

My next stage is to finish cladding the lower portion of the shed since I've jacked it up, so I can move some of the items still in the middle of the extension out.
