My Nan saw the Accord for the first time today, her first question was what horse power does it make :lol:

On the to do list for the Accord is to wire up some kind of rear fog light arrangement, drill out the anti tamper licence plate bolts, polish the headlights and sort out the rocker cover. I need to put it in for MOT at some point also so I can get it registered and up for sale :)

@jjmartin349571

Looks really nice. Interesting colour, too.
Will you have to cut down the rear number plate to fit?

Cheers mate, as it happens my mum mentioned the colour as well as once washed it had almost a purple/pink hue to it when it caught the light. The colour is called signet silver, I think it's rapidly becoming one of my favourites... There was an Accord Wagon SiR for sale in Japan recently in signet silver, it suited the car really well.

I've not measured the aperture but I'm assuming that a standard 6"x12" import plate should fit :? If not I can measure the aperture and get on the case using the CO2 laser at work 8-)

As for what I did today, I rented a new toy:

It pissed down with rain both times I loaded the cars up so I got soaked through and I'm still drying out, but the Transit drove really well and I can't say that it felt sketchy at any point even though about 70% of the drive was dodgy country roads through the Ashdown forest and surrounding area.

The MR2 in the first pic is a manual donor for Laura's car :twisted: The Accord is my 3rd gen which spent a winter outside and now needs to be put away indoors until I can have the sills and rear quarters replaced :(

Today is the 9th day I've woken up disappointed with not knowing how @vtecmec went bionic.

@jjmartin349571, your pics show off the colour way better than the first pics you sent. Really nice 8-) If I buy it will you tell me what the numbers mean?

Proper job then :( shouldn't gone for the set. Leg bent inwards then?

My MCL gives me jip sometimes after squash so I can imagine how much that must hurt.
