We should start a new thread for "I saved someone's life". Of course, being this forum, folk like me would soon degrade it with cheap jokes, but it's still an idea.Sailor wrote:Well done, chum.Vtecmec wrote:Well, today I saved someones life, a motorcyclist who decided to overtake on the brow of a hill and almost hit me head on. Fast reflexes meant that he only scraped down the side of the front of the car instead of coming through the windscreen. I'm a little miffed though.
We found ourselves in the middle of a mountain road convoy of 5 French-registered Porsches and a Ferrari the other day. We were being tourists: they were going for it. One of the Porkies overtook us at the wrong place and got no more than half a car overlap before he realised that it was time to let some poo out .... Prelude brakes saved the day!
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

I have hooked puke out of a choking drunk friends throat before if that counts?
He had gone blue and was on his back in a bath so I'm not sure if he would have pulled out of it myself.

Much better
What's going on with your clock and the extra buttons? Is that your aircon? I can see your hazard switch is in a different spot as well. And is that your rear demister opposite?

some Sir's came with touchscreen instead of the normal JDM air con. Mine has got the Sat-Nav, touchscreen and the JDM air con all integrated into one.

I'm still pretty clueless with OEM 5th gen options

So all that is on the head unit. So what are the buttons where my clock is?nitin_s1 wrote:Mine has got the Sat-Nav, touchscreen and the JDM air con all integrated into one.

Instead of the clock in any other 5G, I have my main Air Con controls there. Other functions such as the where you want the air to blow is in my touch screen. The touchscreen has some of the air con buttons, SatNav, TV and Clock. There is an OEM radio where you have a small pocket in any other 5G. My rear windscreen demister and Hazard buttons are on the CF radio as well.
I personally like it as it fills up all the holes etc etc.
But if you don't have the OEM radio in there the touchscreen is useless.
