...and holds the gear longer so more VTEC time?

The only thing I don't like is the grandad shift knob and lack of leather gaitor.. I'm going to see if I can find a replacement shift knob and a gaitor from a manual.

Do you get a 'Sport' button?

No, the only button there is the one on the side of the shifter to get it in and out of Park.

Ah, the lude had a sport button down from the shift button, so even in D4 it would hold up to the redline in each gear if you floored it.

New alternator arrived. Not bad at £135 delivered next day. Bought it from the Starter Motor & Alternator Company. Honda wanted ~£460 and Euro Car Parts ~£320 :?

My previous one was mainly a sarky comment tbh, not an entirely straight forward one

With foot floored, does it make any difference whether the gear lever is in D3 or D4? Auto's used to take foot floored to mean hold the gear to the end anyway :old: (that's probably answered in the document that was linked earlier, but I've not been interested enough to read it I'm afraid  ) but anyway, the point is if they don't do that any more, it's just added complication IMO - the point of an auto is that it takes all the effort out of the driver having to do anything!
