Two, she always gets me a 'funny' card and proper card. Also got a load of business-card size things, with little meaningful things on them.

I got her favourite champage, cooked her a 2 course meal (was 3, she was too full to eat the pancakes with chocolate sauce and strawberries) and a bunch of tulips (like 'our flowers'), and she complains that I didn't get her a big foldy card.

He's not joking, I bet Nitin actually bought his Type S a card and some flowers. Geez, get a room!

Me and the missus just do the card thing and a meal at home, nothing too fancy. Got the valentines M&S two dine for £20 deal - damn it was taaasty! Had a shock clearing up, the starters alone (some goats cheese tartlet things) had 78% of your daily saturated fat content! By the desert, I think I may have put on some weight this week!

Recommend this next year to others, you get a starter, main, side dish, desert, valentine chocs and a bottle of Cava - about as posh as I get!
Plus drink enough and you might get some extra desert - drunken valentine FTW!

We've started drinking rum with cranberry juice instead of Coke. We figured we were being a bit healthier. All of the cranberry juices out there (expense or cheap) have MORE SUGAR per 100ml than Coke does! Coke has about 10-11g of sugar, the cranberry juices have 12-14g (they're also higher on calories and energy as well).

We worked out that the cranberry juice was worse for us than just drinking coke. We've switched to Tesco light cranberry instead now which is only about 3.2g or something, but it just goes to show it's worthwhile checking these things.

These two sentences are some of the funniest stuff you've ever written Jay! Was this accompanied by some deep fried fruit? ;)
