I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Well done to all of you though, well done indeed.

I don't have one of those things, I remember cutting the plastic sleeves out instead of buying proper ones and I used the gold things on the corners to fix a lampshade.

But I do have certificates  I have a prize of achievement in maths somewhere, it's worth nothing and I'm sure it was a body lemonade take because I got it just after scoring well below the 40% pass grade in a proper exam

I tried to do A level maths in a year of evening classes. At the first session, the tutor said, "this is aimed at people who've done A level maths over the 2 years and didn't quite manage to pass but want to top up on it, I wouldn't expect anybody to be able to do this course and pass straight off"
:hurr: thought I...

(he was right of course - I got a U). I've just read the letter that accompanied the certificate and it starts by saying "I hope you are pleased with the grade you have achieved"

Errr... :?

So do I, never used it though, and I have no idea where it is. 12 years ago I put it in the basket where my mum put her magazines, but she's moved that now...

I have no idea what the hell that is.

I never got round to picking up my "A" Level certificates from school. I can't remember how I got into Higher Ed. without them but I obviously did. I went back to my home town a couple of years ago, and as I drove past my old school they had completely demolished it and rebuilt it a few yards to the left. I fear I may have trouble if anyone ever asks for the certificates.

Incidentally, I was a bloody idiot when I was young and only attended classes for the first half year at Uni (Poly.actually) and didn't turn up for the exams. I can still remember the letter they sent kicking me out, it started "Dear Mr Sinclair, We realise that this may come as a shock to you......." :|
