I feel for you though, I got the same feeling when returning to my car to find it had been hit and no note left...happened twice!! over 700 pounds worth of damage total!

^^ This. No fruit and veg though. Box of car parts to chuck at them. Alternators - Cylinder Heads that sort of thing.

Really sorry to hear about this. Happened to me a couple of times over the years and it is horrible. If they have burnt out a couple of cars as well the police might put some effort into finding them.

hopefully yeah. all i can think is that it could have been worse.

jokes on them. they left a vital bit of the stereo behind...so its not going to work! i know its only little things...but made me smile...

When I had my stereo half inched, I put a notice round to all the local cash converters and said "if you get this stereo in, it's stolen from my car, please give me a call if you see it" and I made sure I had mates of mine go in regularly to check to see if it was there, just encase they didn't tell me as they knew it was stolen goods. It turned up in the end but they ruined it pulling it out as I'd screwed it in. Got the scumbags though.

Keep an eye out on eBay too, see if your stereo appears on there. Just do a check with "nearest first" and see if anything turns up.
