As said, it's comparable to having your clutch changed, but is he fitting a new clutch at the same time? It'd certainly be worth considering if yours is due soon. A genuine ATR clutch is only £160 on eBay.

If he's not fitting a new clutch then it should obviously be cheaper, so I'd be looking at nearer the £200-£250 range. Most garages are around the £50 an hour range.

£150 for fitting a clutch (if that included parts) is ridiculously cheap, I wouldn't trust the quality of clutch. £650 for fitting a clutch (Not including the parts) is unbelievably expensive, I wouldn't trust myself for making money spending decisions again in the future!

Ive done new clutch&flywheel on both my ludes and it is fairly straight forward but took me a day each time but i did spend time fitting new engine mounts and cleaning everything up including the gearbox casing. Really needs two people to refit the box.
TBH I think £200 - £300 is a fair price if its done by a decent mechanic at a reputable garage. ;)

If I still had the garage I'd want £200 off a stranger to do it £150 to a mate.
