Or OEM Prelude Type S intake (my one), full exhaust and ATR intake manifold and spoon chip will work well.c_doughty1 wrote:Ok...I'm thinking Aem cold air Intake kit, full exhaust and a new chip maybe a spoon? ATR is short for the Accord Type-R, with the H22a7 engine. The intake manifold is a more efficient design than the OEM Prelude intake. The ATR intake has single runners and allows better breather (more power) from mid to high RPM. The Prelude intake manifold has dual-runners, operating a butterfly-valve system.
The ATR intake needs a bit of work if you want it to fit and work with a Prelude, or you can just buy a Skunk2 intake manifold, which is based on the ATR intake but has all the necessary changes so it is a straight fit on the Prelude
