Bottom line chap, buy a jazz. Will be much more reliable than the 2.0 civic. In fact, im sat in my missus jazz right now
. Wicked car, wicked mpg and easy/cheap to run. We have a 2002 model. Awsome

The civic suffers rear calipers, clutches, and a/c compressors. We have seen a few with random srs control unit failures
But tbh, few and far between.
The things to look out for on the jazz would be cvt clutch judder, if ur looking at a cvt. some are suffering rear wheel bearings, and the early ones with EGR valve problems, although those should be ironed out by now. And the other thing I can think of now is if the boot is full of water, then the rear gutters will be split. Apart from that they are pretty bullet proof

Another note is the 2.0ltr civic uses the first generation k20, which is actually a real reliable motor. It's just the stuff that's bolted onto the civic that's the problem

looks ok but a little chunkyDonald wrote:When I was buying my Prelude this was the other option. On the same day I looked at both, obviously preferred the Prelude but I wouldn't sniff at one of those either tbh.Thebusofwoe wrote:We only see one of theserob quilter wrote:Get one of these:
