WD40 wont work
White sprit wont work
Stickystuff remove wont work
vinigar wont work
Acetone from the chemist WILL work. Get a pot. It will wipe off.

I used to use silicone eater for things like this and it worked a treat, but the last tub I had wasn't all that, so I wasn't sure whether they'd changed to formula or whether it was just a naff replacement for what ToolStation used to stock.

White spirit or meths or combination of both I work in the sign trade and it works a treat
