thanks for the input guys, its been sitting in the garden doing nothing for the last week so I went and had a look around it today, 1st ball ache is some genius took the engine management bulb out, I knew it was gone before I purchased but he was hiding something prob o2 sensors are shot, 2nd noted ...

So operation restore Lude Type s stepped up a gear as I have taken the car off the road so I will actually get some of the much needed work done on it. Cheers for the replies lads . sorry on the delay getting back just been busy with work. Would I be correct in saying that 4g / 5g coilovers would fit the type s no problem??? A set of nearly new tein basic dampers have come up for penny's and I will go get them tomorrow if they fit Thanks in advance
