It's a custom built bolt in cage, but the cage is the one thing that Phil didn't get, as it was sold before.

Fair point, but with it running that far back, the angle sideways is pretty shallow so there won't be much force being transfered in that direction? It's difficult to tell from that photo, so I guess I could be wrong on that... I don't know much about the laws of physics etc, however, I do know tha...

Having a harness without a cage and that might happen anyway (if the car is rolled). Good call. I had 6 point harnesses fitted in my lude, and always felt a little uneasy, knowing that if I rolled the car I was literally sat rigid with nowhere to go. With a 3 point harness, it should be attached directly behind the centre of the seat - not to one side. Personally I'd save for a 4 or 5 point harness, and get it mounted correctly.

But what actually happens when you reach 112mph? Does it sound like you've hit the Rev limiter , or does it simply not go any faster?
